Terms and Fair Play: how bookings, refunds and feedback work
Last updated: October 9, 2026. These terms cover bookings, payments, refunds and Fair Play for Darwell Admissions, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. They apply to every session and package booked through Darwell, including Masterclass seats, Consultant Hours, Sprints and Full Applications.
You book by sending a request through our contact page. We reply with a matched Guidance Consultant, and the booking confirmation includes payment details. All sessions and payments go through Darwell, at the tier prices shown on our Canadian and US program pages.
The full refund applies to any session cancelled 24 hours or more before it starts. To cancel, write to us through our contact page with your booking details and we will confirm in writing. Refunds are paid as set out in your booking confirmation and cover the full price of the cancelled session.
If your first session is not useful, you get a free swap to another Guidance Consultant or a refund of the unused portion of your package. Just tell us.
Our consultants give feedback, not ghostwriting of any kind : students write every word. Consultants never write, rewrite or polish any part of an application.
No one at Darwell can promise an admission outcome. Admission decisions are made by universities alone, and no package or price changes that.
Fair Play means no private paid work outside Darwell for 12 months, counted from when you first meet through Darwell.
Want to keep working with a consultant directly? You can, through a Direct Engagement request with a one-time $500 fee.
Darwell Admissions is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any university or application service. University and program names on this site only describe where students apply.
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date above shows the current version. Questions about these terms or Fair Play? Write to us through our contact page.
